POMELO
Our pomelos are picked ripe and fresh from local farms in Thailand. We select the best fruits with care and aim for our production processes.
Pomelo from Thailand are one of the largest specie in the world and the taste is similar to grapefruit, but a bit less sour and juicy. The membranes are thick and can keep the juice inside even after the production process. Thai people prefers to consume it in a dish than pressed for a juice. It is the main ingredient of the Thai spicy salad: Yum Som-O.
The peak season is in August, the quantity for industrial process is limited so an early booking is needed.
The ripe fruits are peeled and cut in segments. Then, we keep and select all the membranes and we fill the can with heavy syrup.
